Laura Biagiotti Roma Rosa is an Eau de Toilette launched in 2017, created by Domitille Michalon Bertier. Roma Rosa opens with Red Fruits and Bergamot, settles into a heart of Neroli, Rose, Jasmine, and Peony, and dries down to a base of Musk, Sandalwood, and Vanilla. Laura Biagiotti's Roma Rosa carries an Acquired verdict, a vanilla-led wear.

Divisive, to say the least, Roma Rosa manages to unite a surprising number of people in their shared dislike. Synthetic, cheap, and a 'detergent dispersion' are just some of the ways it's been charmingly described. Do yourself a favour and steer clear.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Fall
Also Works:
Spring Summer

Built for the cooler edges of the year - autumn and spring pair best.

Best Occasions

Given the overwhelmingly negative sentiment and descriptions of it being harsh and cloying, this fragrance is unsuitable for most occasions. Its perceived cheapness and synthetic nature would make it inappropriate for formal settings or professional environments.

About

Roma Rosa opens with a jolt of harsh, chemical-like red berries and sharp bergamot, struggling to find its footing. The heart attempts a floral redemption with rose, jasmine, and peony, but they quickly succumb to a cheap, synthetic musk and an overwhelming, cloying vanilla. The dry down is a muddled affair of dusty sandalwood and a persistent, sugary sweetness, lacking any real elegance or depth.
