Luxe Fragrances Andes is an Eau de Parfum. Andes opens with Bergamot, Apple, Blackcurrant, and Pineapple, settles into a heart of Patchouli, Birch, and Rose, and dries down to a base of Musk, Amber, and Oakmoss. Luxe Fragrances's Andes carries an Acquired verdict, a fruity-led wear.

Luxe Fragrances' Andes takes on Creed's Aventus - pineapple and blackcurrant into birch and patchouli, closing on musk and oakmoss. Gets the fruity-smoky opening reasonably close; the legendary Aventus sillage and depth are inevitably scaled down.

About

Andes is Luxe Fragrances' budget reading of Creed's Aventus (2010), the pineapple-birch-oakmoss fragrance widely regarded as the most influential and most-cloned masculine of the last fifteen years. The pyramid mirrors the real thing closely: bright pineapple, apple and blackcurrant with bergamot form the famous fruity-citrus opening, rose and smoky birch leaf move into a woody-smoky heart with patchouli adding depth, and musk, oakmoss and amber settle into the warm, complex base that gives Aventus its signature power-and-success character. The fruity-smoky opening accord is the strongest match here, capturing the pineapple-birch combination that made Aventus so instantly recognisable. Where it falls short is inevitable given the price gap - genuine Aventus offers eight-to-twelve hours of strong, evolving projection, while this version's fruity opening and smoky heart fade to a much quieter, flatter musk-amber base well before that. A worthwhile way to sample the pineapple-birch-oakmoss silhouette that launched a thousand clones, without the Creed price tag or the wait list.
