Luxe Fragrances Flowrose is an Eau de Parfum. Flowrose opens with Berries, Bergamot, Freesia, and Green Tea, settles into a heart of Floral, Rose, and Orchid, and dries down to a base of Musk, Patchouli, Vanilla, and Caramel. Luxe Fragrances's Flowrose carries a Statement verdict, a sweet-led wear.

Flowrose's caramel-vanilla-patchouli base is a genuinely close match to Viktor&Rolf's Flowerbomb, but the green-tea-berries opening is thinner and less explosive than the original's famous peony detonation, so it never quite lives up to the name.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Also Works:
Fall Winter

The sweet caramel-vanilla base suits cooler weather best, though the fresh green tea opening gives it some crossover appeal.

Best Occasions

Also Works:
Date Casual

Sweet and playful enough for dates and casual wear; it lacks the projection to make a statement at formal occasions.

About

Flowerbomb built its reputation on an explosive opening of peony that blooms into centifolia rose, jasmine and orchid, before a base of freesia, amber, patchouli and vanilla gives it a sweet, playful, unmistakably feminine signature with strong projection for hours. Flowrose, inspired by it, opens on bergamot, green tea, freesia and berries - a lighter, fresher start than the original's rich peony burst, so the initial impression is noticeably more subdued rather than the room-filling detonation Flowerbomb is named for. The white flowers-orchid-rose heart carries a fair amount of the designer version's floral character, and the caramel-vanilla-patchouli-musk base is the strongest part of the dupe, landing close to Flowerbomb's sweet, gourmand-leaning finish. Where it comes up short is exactly where the original earns its name: the sillage and initial impact are both softer, so it reads as a pleasant sweet floral rather than the bold, projecting statement scent Flowerbomb is known for.
