Luxe Fragrances Havara is an Eau de Parfum. Havara opens with Citrus and Spicy, settles into a heart of Bergamot and Grapefruit, and dries down to a base of Cypress, Saffron, and Artemisia. Luxe Fragrances's Havara carries a Statement verdict, a woody-led wear.

Luxe Fragrances' Havara offers a simplified take on Penhaligon's Halfeti - citrus and spices into bergamot-grapefruit, closing on saffron and cypress. The original's full oud-rose-leather complexity is scaled back significantly here.

About

Havara is Luxe Fragrances' budget nod to Penhaligon's Halfeti (2020), the saffron-oud-leather oriental woody built around cypress and artemisia. The house pyramid runs simpler than the real Halfeti - which layers Bulgarian rose, jasmine, agarwood, cedar, leather and tonka bean into a genuinely complex niche composition - but the shared structural notes are there: citrus and spices open the scent, bergamot and grapefruit brighten the middle, and saffron alongside cypress needles and artemisia give a spiced, slightly bitter-green base that echoes the original's character in outline if not in full depth. Where the real Halfeti builds a rich woods-and-leather trail over several hours, this simplified version reads thinner and less resinous, missing the oud and rose layers that make the niche original distinctive. It's best understood as an introduction to the saffron-cypress-spice family rather than a precise clone - a way to sample the direction before deciding whether the full Penhaligon's composition is worth the investment.
