Luxe Fragrances Sierra is an Eau de Parfum. Sierra opens with Mandarin and Blackcurrant, settles into a heart of Rose and Freesia, and dries down to a base of Patchouli, Vanilla, and Ambroxan. Luxe Fragrances's Sierra carries a Statement verdict, a fruity-led wear.

Sierra chases the blackcurrant-rose-patchouli contrast that made Giorgio Armani's Si a modern chypre bestseller, delivering a sweet, fruity-woody wear that reads recognisably in the same family, though flatter and shorter-lived than Christine Nagel's polished, radiant original.

About

Inspired by Si is Luxe Fragrances' interpretation of Giorgio Armani's Si, the 2013 launch that reimagined the chypre genre as sweet and accessible, opening on Sicilian bergamot, mandarin and blackcurrant liqueur, moving through a May rose, neroli and jasmine heart, and closing on patchouli, blond woods, amber and vanilla with ambroxan. Sierra opens with a fruity blackcurrant-mandarin burst before a rose-freesia heart takes over, settling on patchouli, vanilla and ambroxan. The blackcurrant-rose-patchouli skeleton is a clear echo of Si's identity, and the sweetness in the base gives a fair nod to the original's warm, contrast-driven character. The gap shows up in refinement - Armani's original balances its fruity sweetness against a genuinely sophisticated patchouli-ambroxan chypre base that gives it lift and radiance, while Sierra's version reads simpler and sweeter throughout, without the same polished lift. Performance runs three to five hours with moderate projection, shorter than the strong sillage the original is known for even from a single spray. A pleasant, wearable fruity-chypre option for fans of Si's sweet-sophisticated signature who want it at a fraction of the designer price.
