Luxe Fragrances Ysera is an Eau de Parfum. Ysera opens with Bergamot, Ginger, and Apple, settles into a heart of Geranium, Juniper, and Sage, and dries down to a base of Cedar, Tonka Bean, and Amberwood. Luxe Fragrances's Ysera carries a Favourite verdict, a aromatic-led wear.

Luxe Fragrances' Ysera follows YSL's Y closely on paper - apple and ginger into sage and juniper, closing on amberwood and tonka. Captures the fresh-aromatic opening well; the fougere depth in the dry-down is where it thins out.

About

Ysera is Luxe Fragrances' take on Yves Saint Laurent's Y Eau de Parfum (2018), the apple-sage-amberwood fougere that became one of YSL's defining modern masculines. The pyramid is a faithful match: crisp apple and ginger open things up with bergamot brightness, sage and juniper berries build a green aromatic heart with geranium adding definition, and amberwood, tonka bean and cedar close on the warm, smoky-incense character that gives Y its distinctive modern-blue identity. The opening genuinely lands close to the original's crisp, sparkling apple-ginger freshness. The gap shows in the drydown - YSL's Y is known for a robust eight-to-ten hour wear where the sage and woods do the long-haul work, while this version settles to a much softer, shorter-lived amber-woody base. A solid, wearable everyday alternative for office and casual settings when the YSL price tag isn't in the budget, best sprayed liberally given the moderate performance.
