Marks & Spencer Apricot Ember is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2026. Apricot Ember opens with Apricot, settles into a heart of Spicy Notes and Vanilla, and dries down to a base of Amber and Sandalwood. Marks & Spencer's Apricot Ember carries a Favourite verdict, a sweet-led wear.

A soft, easy winter apricot. Warm spice and creamy vanilla sit on a smooth sandalwood and amber base. It is cosy and gentle rather than showy, and very cheap for 100 ml. Reviews are thin so far, so test before you commit.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Fall Winter

Jammy apricot, warm spice, vanilla and amber are classic cold-weather materials and would feel heavy in summer heat. It fits autumn and winter best.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Casual
Also Works:
Office Date

A smooth, gentle, moderate-strength scent that is easy to wear around other people, so it works for the office and everyday wear. It is warm and pleasant for an evening but not dramatic enough to be a formal statement.

About

Imagine apricot jam stirred into a mug of warm spiced milk and carried to a window seat in January. Apricot Ember opens on ripe apricot, soft and slightly jammy rather than sharp or sour. Spices come in quickly and warm it up, so the fruit never turns sugary or juvenile. Creamy vanilla rounds off the middle of the scent and keeps the spice gentle, which makes the whole thing easy to wear and hard to dislike. As it settles, sandalwood and amber take over. Sandalwood gives a smooth, milky wood, and the amber adds a glowing, slightly resinous warmth. The result is a smooth, ambery scent that sits close to the skin and feels like a soft knit jumper. It is an eau de parfum in a 100 ml bottle, and a limited edition in the Discover range, priced well below most spiced fruit and wood perfumes. Detailed wear reports are scarce because it has only just arrived, so treat longevity as moderate, in line with the rest of the range, and expect to top up through the day. It sits in the same spiced apricot and sandalwood territory as Jo Malone Sandalwood & Spiced Apricot, at a fraction of the cost. It suits autumn and winter, work days that need something gentle, and anyone who wants a warm, fruity scent without a heavy gourmand sweetness.
