Inspired by Blooming Bouquet is Match Fragrances' budget reading of Dior's 2014 Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, the Francois Demachy peony-damask rose-musk composition that became Miss Dior's lightest and most-floral flanker. Match's pyramid mirrors the original community pyramid: Sicilian mandarin and Calabrian bergamot on top, a peony-damask rose-white musk heart, and a white musk base. The first hour is the strongest match: Sicilian mandarin and Calabrian bergamot lift bright with the trademark fresh-citrus-floral impression arriving within minutes. By the heart the peony comes forward as the headline note - that signature crisp-water peony that defines Blooming Bouquet - with damask rose adding the floral depth and white musk softening the bouquet. The dry-down trades on white musk as the clean anchor. Performance is the budget compromise: three to five hours of light sillage - light feminine compositions are inherently shorter-lasting.
