Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Fall Winter

Amber and oud are warm and dense, so autumn and winter suit best. The house shows no fresh or citrus elements that would lift it for summer.

Best Occasions

Also Works:
Date Casual Formal

A warm amber-oud oil reads as an evening and special-occasion scent, though it is soft enough for casual wear. The house says it suits any occasion.

About

Arabian Amber is an attar from Ô Médina Perfumery, the Grenoble house that sells its own perfumes from its shop. The house describes it as a fusion of amber and agarwood (oud), a timeless oriental scent with woody and amber notes. It presents the amber as a precious resin from fossilised trees that brings a warm, sweet depth, and the agarwood as one of the most expensive woods in the world that adds a rich, comforting woodiness. The house publishes no top, heart and base pyramid, only these two named ingredients, so both are listed as base notes here. It is sold as unisex, in a 7ml bottle, as part of the house's Attar collection, and the shop calls it a limited edition. The shop does not state a concentration or give any wear-time figures. As an attar it is an oil rather than a spray, so the usual advice is to dab it on the pulse points. The shop suggests wearing it at any time of day, with a light touch for daytime and more for the evening. No independent wearer reviews were found, so the scores below follow the house's own claims and the oil format, not reported wear.
