Oakcha Kent Garden is an Extrait de Parfum. Kent Garden opens with Melon and Pear, settles into a heart of Rose and Freesia, and dries down to a base of Rhubarb, Musk, Amber, and Patchouli. Oakcha's Kent Garden carries a Statement verdict, a green-led wear.

Juicy pear and melon lead into freesia and rose, then dry down to clean musk, amber and a little patchouli. A soft, fresh floral for daytime. It is Oakcha's take on English Pear & Freesia.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Think of a spring garden just after rain. Kent Garden is a soft floral built around pear and freesia, and it keeps that clean, dewy mood from start to finish. Pear and melon lead, juicy and lightly sweet, with a crisp watery edge. Freesia takes over in the heart. It is airy and fresh, and a little rose adds a rounded petal softness without making the scent heavy. The dry-down is gentle. Musk gives a smooth, skin-like base, amber adds a faint glow, and patchouli stays in the background as a touch of earth. Rhubarb is also listed among the base notes, and it adds a tart, green thread through the soft finish. The extrait strength helps the fruit and flowers last, so the scent stays present through a working day. It sits close to the skin with a light, pleasant trail. It is a good choice for spring and summer, for the office, brunch or a daytime walk. Oakcha no longer sells it, and its page has been removed from oakcha.com; this page records it for owners. Bottom line: a fresh pear and freesia floral with a clean, musky finish.
