Suede Oud Elixir

Suede Oud Elixir sprays the same leather-and-jasmine-sambac composition as the oil, with cardamom giving the top a minor hint of spice rather than sweetness. Leather takes the lead through the heart, chic and wrap-around rather than smoky, with jasmine sambac's floral tones woven through. The base is patchouli, moss and amber, rich and warm without becoming heavy. One reviewer calls it their favourite of every perfume they have ever worn; others describe it as decadent, nostalgic and cozy, and several mention layering it deliberately with the house's other ouds - sandal, rose, sweet and spiced - to build a personal signature. More than one customer says they have moved away from expensive designer perfumes entirely in favour of this scent. Poured at over thirty percent oud oil and matured for three months before bottling, the Elixir wears with more initial trail than the oil format while staying, by reviewers' own account, long lasting without ever feeling overpowering.
