Amber Mocha

Perfume Parlour Amber Mocha is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2018. Amber Mocha opens with Citrus, Blood Orange, Mandarin, and Lemon, settles into a heart of Coffee, Oud, Amber, and Incense, and dries down to a base of Green and Labdanum. Perfume Parlour's Amber Mocha carries a Statement verdict, a citrus-led wear.

Amber Mocha chases Xerjoff's Golden Moka - that signature sweet-dense citrus opening melting into coffee, oud, amber and incense. The dupe captures the bright citrus-to-resin arc but renders it more balanced and less green than the original, with the oud and incense softened and the Xerjoff's powerful projection trimmed back.

About

Amber Mocha opens with the unmistakable Xerjoff signature: a thick, sweet blast of blood orange, lemon and mandarin, dense and almost jammy. As it settles a barely-there coffee note threads through a warm heart of amber, incense, a whisper of oud and a touch of rose - boozy and resinous rather than overtly gourmand, just as in the original where the moka is more idea than espresso. The drydown turns soft and ambery with green notes and labdanum. Set against the Golden Moka it imitates, this Perfume Parlour version is recognisably the same shape but more rounded and balanced - reviewers note the original feels greener and rawer where this leans smoother, and the assertive oud-incense projection of the Xerjoff is gentler here. A bright, warm citrus-amber that works across the cooler half of the year, delivering Golden Moka's luminous resinous character without its niche price or volume.
