Perfume Parlour Clemency is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2018. Clemency opens with Lemon, settles into a heart of Rose, Jasmine, Violet, and Geranium, and dries down to a base of Musk, Sandalwood, Oud, and Orris. Perfume Parlour's Clemency carries a Statement verdict, a floral-led wear.

A budget take on Roja Ahlam. The lush rose-jasmine-ylang heart, saffron warmth and powdery oud-vanilla base capture the original's luxurious oriental-floral feel, though the dupe wears flatter and skin-closer - the precious-woods depth and long sillage are softened.

About

Clemency opens with a brief lemon brightness before unfolding into a rich white-floral heart: rose de mai, jasmine, ylang-ylang, violet and geranium woven into a juicy, opulent bouquet. The drydown turns oriental and powdery, with saffron and orris warming a base of sandalwood, oud, vanilla and musk for a luxurious, incensed finish. Inspired by Roja Ahlam, it chases that oriental powdery floral-woody character that blends a lush rose-and-oud heart with saffron and precious woods. As a Perfume Parlour version it renders the composition flatter and skin-closer, with the inexpensive florals and powder weighted up and the costlier oud, orris and saffron facets softened, so it projects less than the original's moderate-to-strong sillage and 6-plus-hour wear. The result is an elegant, powdery oriental floral that captures the glamour of Ahlam for a fraction of the price.
