It opens with a bright, sweet-and-sour candied lemon, that lively, candy-peel sparkle the original is loved for. The heart turns rich and dessert-like with smooth panna cotta and a soft white floral of orange blossom, lending a creamy, slightly boozy warmth. The drydown is pure comfort: a creamy, not-too-sugary vanilla that echoes the panna cotta and rounds everything off. Against the original it does a genuinely faithful job - wearers who sprayed both in-store report they smell near-identical - with the only real difference being a marginally softer candied-lemon top here. Like the original, which performs best in its first couple of hours, this leans intimate, projecting gently and settling close to the skin.
