Flavoury opens with a wave of sweet, creamy vanilla that mirrors the comforting heart of Lush Vanillary. A floral lift of jasmine and lily threads through, lending the grown-up, slightly heady character the original is known for, before soft sandalwood, amber and musk settle into a warm, woodsy drydown. Where the Lush has a spicy, buttery, caramelised fullness - that brown-around-the-edges toffee depth from tonka - this budget version reads sweeter and a little simpler, the vanilla more straightforward and the jasmine slightly tamer. Projection is moderate and longevity is modest at four to six hours. It is a cosy, sensual vanilla-floral for casual days, intimate evenings and cooler-weather wear, and an affordable way to enjoy the comforting charm of a Lush favourite.
