Lily here means true Lilium. This vocabulary holds `lily-of-the-valley` as a separate note, so `lily` cannot also mean the muguet reconstruction without duplicating it - which this record previously described in error. Lilium flowers are strongly fragrant and often especially night-fragrant, and their volatile core is monoterpenoid - 1,8-cineole, linalool, (E)-beta-ocimene and methyl benzoate - which is a different smell from the hydroxycitronellal and lily-aldehyde muguet accord.
