Italian Garden

Perfume Parlour Italian Garden is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2011. Italian Garden opens with Neroli, Tangerine, Pink Pepper, and Bergamot, settles into a heart of Rose, Apple, and Cedar, and dries down to a base of Musk, Vetiver, and Cinnamon. Perfume Parlour's Italian Garden carries a Favourite verdict, a citrus-led wear.

Perfume Parlour's budget take on Creed Jardin d'Amalfi, that sunny Amalfi-coast citrus. It captures the breezy tangerine-neroli opening and the surprising spicy-woody drydown, just rendered flatter and shorter than the original.

About

This is Perfume Parlour's budget interpretation of Creed Jardin d'Amalfi, a luminous citrus inspired by Italian summer gardens. It opens breezy and sun-warmed with tangerine, bergamot and a tamed, fully-blended neroli, lifted by a peppery pink-pepper sparkle. The heart turns gently floral-fruity - Bulgarian rose and crisp apple with Virginia cedar adding the first woody depth. Then comes the original's signature twist: a spicy-woody close of cinnamon, white musk and Haitian vetiver that reads almost like a second fragrance. The original sits at medium longevity and low-to-medium projection; the dupe keeps the cheerful citrus-to-spice arc but renders the neroli and woods thinner, with wear pulled in close. For an inexpensive, uplifting citrus-floral for warm days that nods to a luxury house, it captures the holiday mood at a fraction of the cost.
