Spectre opens crisp and lively: zesty Amalfi lemon and lemon zest over a clean lavender, the same bright, slightly sour citrus entry that makes Phantom feel modern and energetic. The heart carries a soft patchouli, a juicy apple facet and more lavender, keeping it fresh and a little aromatic rather than heavy. The base is the crowd-pleaser - smooth, sweet vanilla cut with dry vetiver - giving that gourmand-fresh contrast Phantom is loved for. Against the original it is less dynamic and less refined: the lavender-vanilla blend is simpler, the unusual rhubarb-cardamom sparkle of the real thing is missing, and projection stays modest, settling skin-close within a couple of hours. But the overall vibe - clean, sweet, easy-to-wear and friendly - is faithful. It trades Phantom's complexity and the Parfum's tenacity for budget value, making it a reliable everyday scent for warm and mild weather, the office and casual outings.
