Perfume Parlour Tuscany Man is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2016. Tuscany Man opens with Violet and Saffron, settles into a heart of Lavender and Honey, and dries down to a base of Cedar, Patchouli, and Tonka Bean. Perfume Parlour's Tuscany Man carries a Statement verdict, a warm spicy-led wear.

Tuscany Man copies Roberto Cavalli Uomo - the signature saffron-and-honey sweetness over a warm tonka-cedar base. The dupe nails the cosy spiced-sweet idea but renders it flatter and lighter, fading well short of the original's 8-hour staying power.

About

Tuscany Man opens on Cavalli Uomo's trademark glow of saffron and black violet, sweet and slightly powdery from the first spray. A heart of lavender and honey adds warmth and a touch of aromatic class before the tonka, patchouli and cedar base brings the cosy, sweet-woody drydown that made the original a smart date-night staple. Next to Cavalli the budget version reads a little simpler and more linear - the saffron-honey accord is there but with less depth and a softer sillage that stays closer to the skin. It's a warm, confident cool-weather scent that works for evenings and dressed-up occasions, just without the original's long throw.
