Perfumes Zag Zodiak 253 YSL Y is an Eau de Parfum. 253 YSL Y opens with Bergamot, Lemon, Ginger, and Mint, settles into a heart of Violet Leaf, Geranium, Apple, and Pineapple, and dries down to a base of Canadian Fir Balsam, Musk, Cedar, and Vetiver. Perfumes Zag Zodiak's 253 YSL Y carries a Statement verdict, a woody-led wear.

Tracks Y's aldehyde-bergamot-ginger opening and sage-geranium heart well, swapping the original's tonka sweetness for extra incense and balsam fir, a drier, fresher finish overall.

About

253 YL opens with the same aldehyde-lifted bergamot and ginger combination that gave YSL's Y its clean, modern signature, and the sage and geranium heart carries the aromatic character the original built its identity on. The base takes a different route: the real Y settles into a tonka bean and Ambroxan sweetness, while this dupe leans on incense, balsam fir and vetiver for a drier, greener, more woody-aromatic finish. Extra mint, lemon and pineapple in the top and heart give it a fresher, fruitier edge on first spray than the original's smoother citrus-aldehyde opening. The overall effect is a fragrance in the same confident, modern-fresh family as Y, just noticeably drier and less ambery in the drydown.
