Scentleys 33 is an Eau de Parfum. 33 opens with Violet and Cardamom, settles into a heart of Cedar, Sandalwood, and Iris, and dries down to a base of Musk, Leather, and Amber. Scentleys's 33 carries a Statement verdict, a woody-led wear.

Scentleys' version of Le Labo's Santal 33 (2011) - the cult sandalwood-cedar-leather unisex icon, rendered woodier and less nuanced than the polarising original.

About

33 is Scentleys' interpretation of Le Labo's Santal 33, the modern-classic unisex woody that opens on cardamom and violet before settling into creamy sandalwood, dry cedarwood, and a leather-musk base. The dupe follows the same broad shape - spicy-floral top, sandalwood-cedar heart, leather-musk base - but the sandalwood reads simpler and less creamy than Le Labo's signature accord, and the leather note is softer, without the papyrus dryness that gives the original its distinctive edge. Cardamom and violet are present but fainter on opening. It is a competent woody-leather scent rather than a precise Santal 33 match, with four to six hours of close sillage against the original's genuinely long-lasting niche performance. Works year-round as a unisex layering-friendly wood, best for casual wear and cooler-weather dates where the sandalwood-leather combination reads confident and grounded rather than showy.
