Patch Flash opens with a potent, almost gourmand booziness, like a fine whiskey liqueur. The star, patchouli, quickly emerges, not as a dank, earthy hippie scent, but a surprisingly fresh, green, and at times almost medicinal interpretation, enriched by patchoulol. Spicy notes weave through, adding warmth, while a rich, creamy leather provides structure. As it settles, a sweet, resinous benzoin adds depth and a hint of amber, leading to a long-lasting, sophisticated dry down.
