No. 833 borrows the warming ginger-cardamom opening and dark amber base that anchor Jo Malone's Dark Amber & Ginger Lily, and the overall shape is recognisable from the first spray. The original's black orchid and water lily heart, however, is far more textured and the incense-amber base reads denser and smokier than what this dupe delivers - here the florals sit thinner and the amber leans sweeter rather than resinous.
