The Essence Vault Rush - 449 is an Eau de Parfum. Rush - 449 opens with Gardenia and Peach, settles into a heart of Freesia, and dries down to a base of Vetiver and Patchouli. The Essence Vault's Rush - 449 carries an Acquired verdict, a fruity-led wear.

No. 449 chases Gucci Rush's peach-gardenia-patchouli chypre fruity shock. It gets the loud, sweet peach opening right but softens the earthy patchouli-vetiver base that gives the original its unmistakable, slightly medicinal edge.

About

No. 449 references Gucci Rush, a fragrance that built a cult following on its unusual, almost aggressive combination of juicy fruit and earthy chypre depth. The opening delivers a comparable rush of peach and gardenia, sweet and immediately noticeable, which is the strongest point of overlap with the original. Freesia sits in the heart adding a light floral lift, again broadly in line with Rush's structure. The bigger departure comes in the base: Gucci's patchouli and vetiver combination is famously earthy, almost bitter and medicinal against the sweet top notes, and that tension is what makes Rush divisive and distinctive. No. 449's version smooths this out into a softer, more generically warm patchouli, losing the original's sharper contrast and, with it, some of its addictive quality. It still reads as a fruity chypre with real presence and reasonable projection out of the bottle, but it settles into a more conventional sweetness where the original stays unpredictable.
