The Parfum Hub Oud 23 is an Eau de Parfum. Oud 23 opens with Rosewood, Sichuan Pepper, and Cardamom, settles into a heart of Sandalwood, Vetiver, and Oud, and dries down to a base of Amber and Vanilla. The Parfum Hub's Oud 23 carries a Statement verdict, a woody-led wear.

Oud 23 keeps the creamy, refined oud character that separates Tom Ford Oud Wood from harsher, smokier ouds, though it settles to skin faster than even the original's already-modest EDP longevity.

About

Oud 23 is The Parfum Hub's take on Tom Ford Oud Wood (2007), the fragrance widely credited with introducing mainstream Western noses to oud and still one of the most referenced 'designer oud' releases. The notes mirror the original's simple, elegant structure: rosewood, cardamom and Chinese pepper open with a warm spiced-wood lift, oud, sandalwood and vetiver form a creamy, refined heart rather than a raw, barnyard-style oud, and vanilla and amber close things on a soft, sweet note. The creamy-refined character is the part that matters most here and this version gets it right - it avoids the harsh, medicinal edge that cheaper oud dupes often fall into. Longevity was never Oud Wood's strongest suit even in its genuine EDP form, with most reviewers reporting four to six hours, and this version runs shorter still, settling to a faint skin scent within a couple of hours. A pleasant, easy-wearing introduction to the creamy oud-sandalwood-vanilla combination that made Oud Wood a modern classic.
