The Parfum Hub Satin Wood 15 is an Eau de Parfum. Satin Wood 15 opens with Rose, Violet, and Strawberry, settles into a heart of Rose, and dries down to a base of Amber, Cedar, Oud, and Vanilla. The Parfum Hub's Satin Wood 15 carries a Statement verdict, a rose-led wear.

Satin Wood 15 leads with the same rose-vanilla-oud combination that makes Maison Francis Kurkdjian's Oud Satin Mood so recognisable, but the polished, room-filling sillage of the original doesn't survive the translation.

About

Satin Wood 15 is The Parfum Hub's dupe of Maison Francis Kurkdjian Oud Satin Mood (2015), a rose-vanilla-oud release where, despite the name, vanilla-soaked roses lead rather than the oud itself. The notes follow that same rose-forward structure: Bulgarian rose, strawberry and violet open with a soft, fruity-floral sweetness, Turkish rose carries a luminous floral heart, and oud, amber, benzoin, caramel, cedar and vanilla settle into a rich, polished base. The rose-into-vanilla arc is a solid likeness of the original's most talked-about quality - a rose that turns sweet and edible rather than sharp or green. What's missing is the sheer performance MFK is known for: Oud Satin Mood reportedly projects several feet for hours and lasts well into the next day on clothing, while this version's caramel-vanilla base is comparatively soft and pulls in close to skin much sooner. A gentle, wearable rose-oud for anyone drawn to the Oud Satin Mood concept without needing the room-filling presence.
