About
Caitlin Hayes is the founder and perfumer of Sorce, also known as Sorcellerie Apothecary, in Charlotte, North Carolina. She spent a decade teaching middle-school English before starting the brand in the early 2020s, and she teaches herself her craft, formulating every Sorce scent herself. She comes to perfume as a lifelong reader and writer, and her fragrances take their names and moods from books, folklore and fairy tales.
