About
Luke Anapolis is a self-taught American perfumer and the founder of Atwood Parfum, an independent house inspired by Provincetown, Massachusetts. He formulates and develops every Atwood fragrance in-house and splits his time between Brooklyn and Provincetown.
His perfumery began as a personal mission to preserve the scent of Cape Cod's pitch pines, a fragrance he could not find, so he formulated it himself. That scent became Beech Forest. He works with a designer's eye and a storyteller's heart, and treats each formula as a portrait of a place he loves.
He is credited with all four Atwood scents: Beech Forest, Boy Beach and Penuche, launched in 2025, and Saltbox, launched in 2026. His style is lifelike and location-specific, built on sand, pine, salt, leather and garden notes.
