Atwood Parfum Beech Forest is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2025, created by Luke Anapolis. Beech Forest opens with Pine, settles into a heart of Forest Floor, and dries down to a base of Woody Notes and Musk. Atwood Parfum's Beech Forest carries a Statement verdict, a woody-led wear.

Resinous pitch pine over a hot, dry sandy forest floor, drying to musk and dry wood with a whisper of smoke. A photorealistic Cape Cod pine-and-dune scent that is calm, grounded and easy to wear.

Top, heart and base are the pyramid as published, not a timing claim. Each note's timing follows its listed tier, where it usually sits across many published pyramids (from ScentPrism) and its vapour pressure. A note comes through as the notes usually listed before it fade, judged from how other pyramids order the same pair. The thickness of a ribbon shows the note's share of what is left on the skin, which tracks how strongly it smells, because odour thresholds rise with vapour pressure. The shares come from how prominent wearers vote each note. It is a simple model, not a measurement.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Spring Autumn
Also Works:
Winter

Resinous pine, dry wood and a smoky edge suit autumn best, with spring the natural extension. It is too warm and dry for peak summer heat.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Casual
Also Works:
Office

Easy and calm, it suits casual days and outdoor walks best, and is quiet enough for the office. It lacks the polish for formal evenings.

About

Beech Forest began as a personal mission: to bottle the smell of Cape Cod's pitch pines, a scent that did not yet exist in any bottle. It is set in the Province Lands, where beech and oak shade a sandy forest floor close to the Atlantic. The opening is resinous pitch pine, sharp, sticky and green. It leads into an accord of dry, hot, sandy forest floor, a dusty, sun-warmed, slightly earthy heart that smells like fallen needles and branches baking in hot sand. A faint wisp of smoke drifts in at the edges. The base is a coyote-musk accord and dry wood, soft and quiet, which gives the pine a gentle landing rather than a heavy one. The overall effect reads as woody and green with smoky, earthy nuances, and it is strikingly lifelike: wearers describe it as hiking through pines until you reach the sea, and as the dunes just as rain begins to fall. Wearers rate its lasting power and projection as moderate to good, and one calls it her favourite on her husband. The brand says all its fragrances are vegan, so the coyote musk is an accord rather than an animal material. Each 30 ml bottle includes a complimentary sample vial, with a 14-day return on the unopened bottle.
