Anais Anais
Eau de Parfum
Cacharel
Based on his credited work, Pellegrino often balanced complex florals and woods with sharp, vivid top notes. In Anais Anais he introduced a bright blackcurrant facet on a white-floral and woody base, while masculine creations like One Man Show and Armani Eau pour Homme emphasize aromatic-citrus freshness over structured woods and moss, giving his fragrances a clear, assertive yet refined character.
Roger Pellegrino is a French perfumer best known for his work from the late 1970s through the 1980s for major designer houses. He co-composed Cacharel Anais Anais (1978) with Raymond Chaillan, Paul Léger and Robert Gonnon while working with Firmenich, and contributed the bright blackcurrant note that helped finalize the formula after many trials. Pellegrino also authored Giorgio Armani Armani Eau pour Homme (1984), Ted Lapidus Envol (1981), Van Cleef & Arpels Gem (1987), Jacques Bogart One Man Show (1980) and was responsible for Nocturne de Caron and Eau de Courrèges. Over his career he created perfumes for brands including Cacharel, Giorgio Armani, Jacques Bogart, Leonard, Rochas, Ted Lapidus, Van Cleef & Arpels and Versace.
