Carla Fracci

Carla Fracci is an Italian fragrance line created by the legendary La Scala prima ballerina Carla Fracci, who was born in Milan in 1936 and became one of the most celebrated dancers of the 20th century. After an illustrious international ballet career in roles such as Giselle, Romeo and Juliet and Hamlet, she launched her own perfume brand in 2003, using her stage repertoire and classical characters as direct inspiration for the scents.

The collection is tightly linked to ballet and theater, with key fragrances including Giselle (2004), Hamlet, Medea and others that reference romantic and dramatic heroines from classical works. Giselle, often regarded as the flagship scent, is a floral gourmand built around white honey, freesia, jasmine, tuberose, ylang ylang, coconut, vanilla, caramel, musk and cinnamon, echoing Fracci’s emotional connection to the role which she has described as a second skin.
