Galimard L'Élève Parfumeur: what is in the kit
18 materials, matched to 33 notes.
Kits: You blend these materials yourself.
Galimard is a perfumer in Grasse, France, founded in 1747. Its Coffret "élève parfumeur" (student perfumer box) is a blending kit: a set of scented materials you combine yourself at home. The box holds 18 exclusive bases made by Galimard's perfumer, each ready to use, so you can make a feminine, masculine or unisex perfume. Every base is 15ml, at Eau de Parfum strength. Galimard presents the box as a gift for a curious child, teenager or adult.
On this page we list all 18 bases and match each one to the notes we hold. Our matching leans towards aquatic, synthetic and musk notes.
The box also has a graduated test tube, a pipette, scent strips, a 100ml bottle you can personalise and instructions in French and English. Galimard sells it at galimard.com. At the last check the price was €99, including tax in France. You can record your formula with Galimard, so you can order your creation again. Checked 28 Oct 2026.
What you can make with it
The bases are yours to combine, so you decide whether the result is light or rich. Add what you make to your collection as a custom perfume and tick the bases you used.
The materials
What each material maps to in our vocabulary. The mapping is ours: a material may be a single ingredient or an accord built from many, and a note stands for how it smells, not for what is in it. Percentages are relative weights inside our scent model, not ingredient percentages.

The material list comes from Galimard L'Élève Parfumeur's own page; matching it to notes is ours. Independent analysis, not affiliated with or endorsed by the provider. Something wrong? Tell us.
This is a description, not a specification. It establishes nothing about ingredients, allergens or whether anything is safe on skin; any strength shown is the provider's own figure. For any of that, follow the provider's own instructions.
