Amethyst Flower is a fantasy floral note, not a distilled material. Both reachable glossaries say the same thing: it is a perfumer's construct built from violet, iris and floral-woody synthetics, named for the gemstone and tuned to smell cool, powdery and mineral. The plant Browallia is attached to the name by some sources, but no headspace study of that plant was found.

Scent Profile

Amethyst Flower is a soft floral scent, fresh and a little sweet rather than heady. A cool, powdery note runs through it, built on a violet and iris accord. A brighter white floral flash of jasmine and gardenia shows at times, though it never takes over. A faintly mineral coolness sits under the powder, with a light green leaf undertone.
