Scent Profile

Powdery leads, because 'iris-scented' from the maker is a claim about the powder that defines iris in perfumery. It is set below the published iris note's 0.82 on purpose, as nothing here supports orris root's full cosmetic-powder density. Floral is the second source's 'flowery touch of a beautiful softness', and it is higher than iris's 0.22 because both descriptions reach for flower and softness while neither reaches for root. Creamy_woody is 'velvety', the only textural word the maker gives. Under those sit a clean_musk softness, a small earthy trace kept low because no source names root or soil, and a mineral that carries a wide spread for the reason in confidence_note.

Diviniris is a captive, meaning a material its maker keeps for its own perfumers rather than selling on the open market. Symrise introduced it and describes it in its own 2021 Group Management Report, in one sentence: 'Diviniris is an iris-scented captive with velvety notes.' That report names it alongside Flowerpool, a white-blossom captive, as new that year. No supplier technical sheet, odour profile, GC breakdown or usage rate was found. The term is attested in 5 Fragrantica perfumes and 1 Parfumo entry.

Usage in Perfumery

Used where a composition needs the iris impression without the cost or the earthy weight of orris butter. The one reviewer description found puts it as the soft counterweight to a salty driftwood accord, which is the job: a soft, powdery floral cushion that other materials sit on.
