About
Lilybelle is a captive lily-of-the-valley molecule from Symrise, made from D-limonene recovered as waste from orange-juice production. It gives a fresh, transparent muguet with ozonic green and lightly aqueous facets.
Scent Profile
White_floral dominates and is what the material is sold to do: the flowery lily-of-the-valley effect, transparent rather than heavy. Green sits under it, named by Symrise as an ozonic green facet, and reads as stem rather than leaf. A general floral roundness supports the muguet. Aquatic_ozonic is the lightly aqueous, transparent accent Symrise names, held below the green because the maker calls it light. Nothing in the sources describes indole, sweetness or powder, and none is scored.

Origin
A Symrise captive, launched as a renewable-feedstock muguet material. Convallaria majalis yields no essential oil or absolute at commercial scale, so every lily of the valley in perfumery is reconstructed. Lyral and Lilial, the two classic reconstruction workhorses, were restricted out of use in the EU, and CosmeticOBS reports Lilybelle as Symrise's answer to that. Symrise says the material took six years of research.
Usage in Perfumery
A heart-note muguet building block. Symrise positions it for freshness and lightness rather than floral weight, and notes that lily of the valley is used particularly often in men's fragrances alongside citrus.
