What this is made of
Origin
Steam distilled from the rhizome of Zingiber cassumunar, a ginger relative grown in Thailand. Its terpinen-4-ol content makes it read quite differently from common ginger.
Usage in Perfumery
Used where a ginger character is wanted without ginger's warmth, and in aromatherapy far more than in fine fragrance.
