What is ScentArt?

Origin

Rosmarinus officinalis, the small pale blue flower. We found no extract of the flower alone. Rosemary oil and absolute come from leaves and flowering tops together. The flowers hold little oil: one study measured 0.056% in the flowers against 1.17% in the leaves. Their oil is richer in caryophyllene oxide, while 1,8-cineole leads in the leaf. So the note is an impression of the flowering herb, not a distillate of the flower.

Usage in Perfumery

Parfumo lists 24 perfumes with the note on 2026-10-10, from 2008 on, mostly in the heart. Examples are Bvlgari Aqva pour Homme Marine (2008) and D.S. & Durga Debaser in Bloom (2026). No source says what role it plays in them.
