A natural extract

Cinnamosma fragrans leaf oil - a real material we do not hold. The link we would make is NaturalComplex; flagged rather than typed as Reconstruction, because the oil exists and the gap is ours.

How the layers join

Origin

Steam distilled from the leaves of Cinnamosma fragrans, endemic to Madagascar, where it is known as mandravasarotra. Its oil is dominated by 1,8-cineole.

Usage in Perfumery

A cineole-fresh top note, largely an aromatherapy material and an alternative to eucalyptus and ravintsara.
