Seagrass is scored as a fresh marine-green material. All three sources agree on the same order: ozonic and saline first, green and vegetal second, a wet-soil earthiness under both. ScentSeeker adds cucumber and a faint sweetness. The vector is aquatic first with green close behind, which is what separates it from a pure marine-mineral material and from a pure leaf material. Origin

Seagrasses are flowering plants that live fully submerged in salt water. ScentSeeker is explicit that they are not seaweed: they have roots, stems and leaves like land grasses. Posidonia oceanica, already published here as its own note, is one of them. No supplier publishes a seagrass essential oil or absolute with an olfactive description, so what perfumery calls seagrass is in practice a built accord rather than a traded extract.
