Adscenture Kyoto is an Extrait de Parfum launched in 2023, created by Elodie Durande. Kyoto opens with Plum Wine and Frankincense, settles into a heart of Davana, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and Plum, and dries down to a base of Cedar, Sandalwood, and Osmanthus. Adscenture's Kyoto carries a Statement verdict, a fruity-led wear.

A plum-led, woody Extrait with frankincense and warm spice. Wearers describe a tart fruit opening that settles into quiet woods, though plum is not for everyone.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Autumn
Also Works:
Winter

Fall receives all nine season selections and winter five; spring and summer receive fewer. The sample is small, so Kyoto gets a cool-weather lean rather than an exclusive seasonal label.

Best Occasions

Also Works:
Date Casual

Night votes slightly exceed day votes, while the written comments describe a calm, polished woody scent with mostly moderate sillage. This supports casual or evening use tentatively; office and formal fits stay near neutral, and the warm profile has little direct sport evidence.

About

Kyoto is an Extrait de Parfum built around plum wine, frankincense, ripe plum and warm spice over sandalwood, osmanthus and cedar. Its inspiration is Gion at dusk, an idea that fits the meeting of fruit, incense and polished woods. Plum gives the composition an immediately recognisable centre, while the darker materials provide a different texture as it settles. Wearers often find the plum prominent at first, then notice woods and incense taking over. One describes the fruit as tart and fresh; another finds the result dark, layered, clean and calm. A separate wearer enjoys the elegant woody impression but does not enjoy plum itself. These reactions make the fruit an important part of any skin trial. Someone drawn to the wood and incense notes should still be comfortable with a clear plum presence at the entrance. The limited longevity responses tend towards moderate or long wear, while projection is more often described as moderate than strong. Individual experiences vary, and the small sample does not support precise hour counts. Autumn receives the strongest seasonal support, followed by winter, with both daytime and evening use represented. The combination suggests a useful cooler-weather option for someone who enjoys fruit with a restrained woody finish. Let it develop beyond the first plum impression before deciding how the frankincense, spice and woods balance on skin.
