Alexandria UK Fire & Spice is an Eau de Parfum. Fire & Spice opens with Bergamot, Orange, Pink Pepper, and Cardamom, settles into a heart of Rose, Cinnamon, Allspice, and Bay Leaf, and dries down to a base of Oud and Ambergris. Alexandria UK's Fire & Spice carries an Acquired verdict, a spicy-led wear.

A budget riff on Ormonde Jayne's Nawab of Oudh - Fire & Spice keeps the citrus-cardamom opening and rose-spice heart but simplifies the original's aldehydic complexity, leaning heavier and sweeter on oud and losing some of the niche original's polish.

About

Fire & Spice opens with a bright orange-bergamot flash cut with cardamom and pink pepper, a fair echo of the original's fresh, spiced citrus opening, though a touch more straightforward. The heart brings Turkish rose, pimento, cinnamon and bay leaf, delivering a warm, spiced floral core that captures the general regal, Indian-inspired character of the original without its more intricate orchid-and-hedione facets. The base settles into oud and ambergris - simpler than the original's more layered vetiver-labdanum-musk finish, but still delivering a smouldering, dignified trail. Longevity is decent but shorter than the niche reference, and the overall effect is louder and less refined in the opening hour before settling down. A fair budget way into the rose-oud-spice territory the original occupies, if not quite matching its complexity.
