Aromara Brandy Chill is an Extrait de Parfum. Brandy Chill opens with Bergamot and Apple, settles into a heart of Brandy, Cardamom, and Vanilla, and dries down to a base of Sandalwood, Moss, and Amberwood. Aromara's Brandy Chill carries a Statement verdict, a fruity-led wear.

Brandy Chill goes after Kilian Apple Brandy on the Rocks' boozy apple-cardamom signature, and lands the crisp apple opening well. The brandy accord and woody base are simpler and less layered than the £395 original's polished blend, but the core cosy, boozy-fruit character carries through.

About

Brandy Chill is Aromara's interpretation of Kilian Apple Brandy on the Rocks, a niche gourmand built around a genuinely convincing boozy-apple accord. The opening is crisp and juicy, apple sharpened by bergamot for a bright, slightly tart first impression that avoids reading as candy. The heart brings the fragrance's signature move: an apple brandy accord layered with cardamom and vanilla, creating that warm, slightly intoxicating sweetness the original is known for. Sandalwood, moss and amberwood round out the base for a woody, faintly bitter finish that keeps the sweetness in check. Compared to Kilian's original, this dupe's boozy accord reads a touch flatter and less complex, missing some of the smoky, resinous depth that makes the drydown so distinctive, and the transition between apple and brandy feels more abrupt here than the original's seamless blend. Still, the crisp-apple-into-warm-spice arc is recognisable and enjoyable in its own right. Longevity holds up well for an extrait, with the boozy warmth lingering pleasantly through a cold-weather evening.
