No 68 opens with a similarly bright grapefruit-ginger contrast that's genuinely close to the designer original, and the aquatic-aromatic heart carries a comparable freshness. The gap appears in the base: Louis Vuitton's ambroxan is engineered to bloom and expand on skin for hours, giving the fragrance its signature sillage, while this dupe's ambroxan-amber base is present but noticeably quieter, pulling in close within a couple of hours instead of building outward. Projection is strong early on before it fades. As a way to sample the fresh grapefruit-ginger-ambroxan formula that made L'Immensite one of LV's most-hyped launches, it's a solid budget option for the opening, just don't expect the same all-day expansion.
