Status Quo kicks off with a zesty mandarin, a surprisingly bright start considering what's to come. Soon, a rich, dark leather accord takes centre stage, softened beautifully by the apricot-tinged floral sweetness of osmanthus. As it settles, an earthy patchouli and the unique, hay-like sweetness of immortelle emerge, all underpinned by a woody, slightly ambergris warmth.
