About

Hypnotic Poison Eau de Parfum is a vanilla and almond scent that turns heads for good or bad. The opening has almond and licorice side by side, sweet and creamy against a dry, aniseed bite, and it is unlike anything else in the opening minutes. Jasmine and orange blossom take the heart, adding white floral depth and a little honeyed warmth that makes the whole thing feel richer and rounder. Vanilla and tonka bean run the base, sweet and almost edible, and they hang on the skin for a very long time. It is strong in presence too, so one or two sprays are plenty. It is the kind of scent that suits dates and cold evenings, and it will fill a small room quickly. It is sweet enough to be cloying in summer heat. If you want a vanilla with character and a long trail, it is a classic of its type.
