Lancome's Hypnose built its reputation on a sweet, slightly mysterious pairing of jasmine and vanilla, wrapped around an unusual passion flower top note that gave the fragrance its distinctive, almost fruity-floral opening. Eden's No.063 goes for that same combination, opening on a bright passion flower accord before jasmine and a soft powdery iris move in at the heart, settling into a vanilla, sandalwood and musk base. The result is genuinely sweet and feel-good, matching the summery, light character the original is known for, though it sits thinner and less sultry than the designer version's denser sillage. It's an easy-wearing everyday floral rather than a statement scent, working best on warmer days when you want something soft and a little sweet without much weight behind it.
