Fueguia 1833 Malabrigo is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2010, created by Julian Bedel. Malabrigo opens with Palo Santo, settles into a heart of Cabreuva, and dries down to a base of Cedar. Fueguia 1833's Malabrigo carries an Acquired verdict, a woody-led wear.

Malabrigo is a stripped-back woody scent made from palo santo, cabreuva and cedar. It is dry, calm and meditative. A good choice if you want wood and nothing else.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Malabrigo is a unisex scent with just three notes, one per stage: palo santo on top, cabreuva in the heart and cedar in the base. Palo santo gives a resinous, slightly sweet and clean woody opening, cabreuva adds a smooth, soft wood in the middle, and cedar finishes with a dry, pencil-shaved backbone. The result is a minimal, all-wood scent that is calm, grounded and quiet.
