GRAHAM & POTT Guanaco is a Parfum launched in 2021. Guanaco opens with Lotus, Peach, and Coconut, settles into a heart of Rose, Violet, and Orchid, and dries down to a base of Oud, Vanilla, and Ambrette. GRAHAM & POTT's Guanaco carries a Statement verdict, a sweet-led wear.

A sweet coconut and peach opening over violet and rose, resting on vanilla, musk and a woody oud base. A powdery floral-fruity parfum with real presence, best on spring days for those who like a woody finish.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Spring

Spring is the anchor, chosen by all seven season voters, with a sweet coconut and peach opening over a powdery floral heart. Autumn and winter score evenly and summer lowest, because the vanilla and oud base is warm.

Best Occasions

Also Works:
Date Casual Formal

There is little occasion evidence: day was chosen more than night by a handful of voters. A sweet, strong, well-blended parfum works for daytime wear and an evening alike, and is too rich for sport.

About

Guanaco is named for the wild camelid of the Andean steppes, and the house calls it a tribute to that rugged, crisp landscape. The fragrance itself is a sweet, powdery, floral and fruity parfum with a woody finish. It opens on coconut, peach and lotus, a sweet, creamy start that wearers say sticks around for a while. The heart is soft and floral, with violet and rose and a trace of orchid. The base is vanilla and musk, with oud underneath. One wearer found the woody, oudy base more prominent than expected and said it spoiled the scent for them, while also calling it extremely well blended. Reports on strength vary. One wearer found it very strong, projecting like crazy and lasting through several hand washes, but more of the voters call the sillage intimate to moderate and the staying power moderate to long. Spring is the season every voter chose. The brand lists it in both its women's and its universal collections, and the votes lean female. The house lists the 100 ml at 400 pounds, and more raters call it way overpriced than think the price is fair. It suits anyone who likes a sweet coconut and peach start and does not mind a woody base.
