About GRAHAM & POTT

GRAHAM & POTT is a British luxury fragrance house that tells its story as a piece of English trade history. The house says it was established in 1890 as a textile manufacturer and grew into a haute parfumerie. Its origin story has a Mr Pott protecting cloth bound for sea voyages by folding marmalade-scented paper into every yard, a gesture that inspired the first house parfum and gave the brand its orange house colour. That history is the house's own account.

The perfumes in our catalogue date from 2019 to 2025. Many take the names of Andean wool, such as Noble Vicuna, Royal Llama and Majestic Alpaca, and the house describes hand-layered parfum, a leather collier tanned for nine months and natural ingredients named by origin, among them Tasmanian apple, Herefordshire blackcurrant and Madurai jasmine sambac.

The style is rich and largely unisex. Amber, oud, saffron, incense and spice sit beside rose, iris and jasmine, with gourmand touches such as toffee, vanilla and raspberry. Royal Llama pairs saffron and incense with osmanthus, toffee and oud, Ambre Miellé wraps honey and plum around amber and tobacco, and Iris Étincelé, from 2025, sets rhubarb, peach and violet over iris, jasmine and Mysore sandalwood. A few releases are lighter, such as White Vicuna with white flowers and tea, and Knight of the Realm with fir balsam, mate and vetiver.

GRAHAM & POTT sits at the luxury end of British perfumery, closer to the ceremonial, heritage-styled houses than to small indie labels. It suits wearers who want statement parfums with a sense of occasion.

Brand Evolution

The house presents itself as a textile business established in 1890 that became a parfumerie. Its documented catalogue begins in 2019 with Noble Vicuna and White Sable, grows through the Andean-wool names of 2020 and 2021, adds lighter eau de parfum releases in 2023, and reaches 2025 with Grey Vicuna and Iris Étincelé.

Quick Verdict

A luxury house for people who want rich, opulent parfum with a sense of occasion. Start with Royal Llama for saffron, incense and toffee, or White Vicuna for a lighter floral and tea musk.
