The brand centres the scent on handmade Yemeni bakhoor chips, with grapefruit, bergamot, jasmine and vetiver carrying the tradition into a fragrance to wear outdoors. The ten materials are given together with no timed top, heart or base, so they are kept as one set rather than rearranged into an unsupported pyramid. A writer on the house's launch describes a sharp, green and almost camphoraceous frankincense set against citrus, jasmine and smoky vetiver. The frankincense is burnt and smoking as well as green, and the writer calls the combination an acquired taste. One reader says they sampled it at a perfume exchange club and loved it.
